Mar-go-Roth-Spie-gel-man, le nom aux six syllabes qui fait fantasmer Quentin depuis toujours. Alors forcément, quand elle s'introduit dans sa chambre, une nuit, par la fenêtre ouverte, pour l'entraîner dans une expédition vengeresse, il la suit. Mais au lendemain de leur folle nuit blanche, Margo ne se présente pas au lycée, elle a disparu. Quentin saura-t-il décrypter les indices qu'elle lui a laissés pour la retrouver ? Plus il s'en approche, plus Margo semble lui échapper...

Ce que j'en ai pensé

J'ai dévoré ce roman en quelques heures ce matin. Je ne pouvais pas arrêter de lire car je voulais connaître la fin, je voulais connaître le fin mot de l'histoire, je voulais retrouver Margo. Mais revenons au début. Ce roman se concentre sur le personnage de Quentin, un lycéen de terminale qui va bientôt obtenir son diplôme. Son fantasme de toujours s'appelle Margo, une fille mystérieuse et qui n'a pas froid aux yeux. Lorsqu'elle disparait après avoir passé la nuit avec lui dans une expédition rocambolesque, Quentin veut la retrouver. Dans cette quête, il va être épaulé par ses amis, une équipe solidaire et loyale aux caractères différents que Quentin devra apprendre à accepter. Dans ce road-trip, Quentin, en même temps qu'il découvre la véritable Margo, va se découvrir lui-même. Cette quête est une quête d'identité qui remet en question la vision que nous avons du monde et des gens qui nous entourent. Ce roman pose la question de l'absurdité du monde, de la vie. Lorsque l'on repose ce roman, on a plus de questions que de réponses, des questions sur nous-mêmes, sur ce que nous voulons, sur ce que nous attendons de la vie, sur qui sont réellement les gens que nous aimons.
Pour conclure, ce roman est magnifique porté par la plume poétique et rêveuse de John Green. Un grand grand roman à lire tout de suite, immédiatement, du pur génie !!!

Et maintenant, j'attends encore plus impatiemment le film - dans lequel joue Cara Delevingne !!! - qui j'espère ne me décevra pas. Je vous mets la bande d'annonce en-dessous pour un avant-goût (mais lisez le livre avant d'aller voir le film !!).

 My thought

I've devoured the book in a few hours this morning. I could not stop reading because I wanted to know the end, I wanted to get to the bottom of the story, I wanted to find Margo. But let's go back to the beginning. This novel focuses on the character of Quentin, a final year student who will soon graduate. His lifelong fantasy is called Margo, a mysterious girl who don't have cold feet. When she disappears after spending the night with him in an incredible expedition, Quentin wants to find her. In this quest, he will be assisted by his friends, a supportive and loyal team of different characters which Quentin will have to learn to accept. In this road trip, Quentin, while he discovers the true Margo, will discover itself. This quest is a quest for identity that questions the vision we have of the world and people around us. This novel raises the question of the absurdity of the world, of life. When we've eventually finished reading the novel, we have more questions than answers, questions about ourselves, about what we want, about what we expect from life, about who are really the people we love.In conclusion, this novel is carried by the beautiful, poetic and dreamy feather of John Green. A great great novel to read right away, immediately, pure genius !!And now I wait even more impatiently for the film - in which plays Cara Delevingne !!! - which, I hope, will not disappoint me.
