24/07/2015: Perth

Arrivée à Perth en fin de matinée. Nous découvrons notre hôtel : le Goodearth Hotel.  Petit point sur cet hôtel : la chambre était spacieuse avec une cuisine équipée et surtout cet hôtel est très bien situé. En effet, il se trouve juste à côté de la Swan River et tout proche du centre-ville. Je vous le recommande donc ! Ah oui, j'ai oublié de vous préciser quelques petits trucs pratiques sur le trajet de l'aéroport au centre-ville. Tout d'abord, sachez qu'il existe une navette gratuite entre l'aéroport international et l'aéroport domestique. Une fois arrivés à ce dernier, vous pourrez prendre le bus (cette fois-ci payant) en direction du centre-ville (il s'agit du bus 40). 

Pour le déjeuner, nous nous arrêtons dans un restaurant japonais, "Nagoya Sushi", qui se trouve dans la même rue que l'hôtel. Les sushis ne sont pas mauvais du tout ! 

L'après-midi, nous poursuivons à pied (nous n'avons pas de voiture pendant les premiers jours à Perth) vers King's Park. 

 Arriving in Perth late morning. We discovered our hotel: the Goodearth Hotel. Small point about this hotel: the room was spacious with an equipped kitchen and most of all this hotel is very well located. Indeed, it is right next to the Swan River and near the city centre. I will therefore recommend it! Oh yes, I forgot to tell you some small practical tips about the journey from the airport to the city center. First, know that there is a free shuttle from the International Airport and the domestic airport. Once there, you can take the bus (this time you have to pay) to the city center (it is the 40 bus).For lunch, we stopped at a Japanese restaurant "Nagoya Sushi", located in the same street as the hotel. The sushi is not bad at all!In the afternoon, we walked (we did not have a car during the first days in Perth) to King's Park.

King's Park est un véritable havre de paix qui surplombe Perth et la Swan River. La vue est magnifique et le parc très agréable. 

King's Park is a peaceful haven overlooking the Swan River and Perth. The view is beautiful and it's a very pleasant park.

Nous rentrons ensuite à la chambre en passant par les rues marchandes. Nous achetons notre dîner à emporter chez Tikka Turban. Je vous conseille le Tandoori Combo (poulet tandoori + salade + naams à l'ail + boisson).

We then returned to the room through the shopping streets. We bought our dinner to take away at Tikka Turban. I recommend the Tandoori Combo (chicken tandoori salad + garlic naams + drink).

25/07/15

 Journée à Fremantle. Nous prenons le ferry pour y aller. La croisière sur la Swan River est très agréable, les rives sont magnifiques et vous pouvez voir des dauphins !!! 

A day in Fremantle. We take the ferry to get there. The cruise on the Swan River is very nice, the banks are beautiful and you can see dolphins !!!

Nous déjeunons au E-Shed Market qui se trouve juste devant vous quand vous arrivez en ferry. Vous avez là un food court où j'ai pris une assiette remplie de mets chinois. Nous allons ensuite faire du shopping. Je vous ferai d'ailleurs un haul normalement. Et puis le soir dîner au Little Creatures et ça c'est vraiment un truc à faire. Ce restau est juste génial !! On mange super bien, y a une ambiance super sympa à l'intérieur avec une lumière tamisée et on peut voir les cuisiniers. Tout ce qu'on a pris était excellent (la gaufre à la cannelle et à la rhubarbe est un pur délice). Ah oui, je précise aussi qu'il s'agit d'une brasserie donc avis aux amateurs de bière.

We have lunch at the E-Shed Market which is right in front of you when you arrive by ferry. You have a food court there where I took a plate of Chinese food. Then we go shopping, I will do a haul normally. And then dinner at Little Creatures and that's really something to do. This restaurant is just awesome!! The food is great, there's a really nice atmosphere inside with soft lighting and you can see the cooks. All we took was excellent (the waffle with cinnamon and rhubarb is a pure delight). Oh yes, I must also specify that it is a brewery, beer lovers you know now.

Nous rentrons à Perth en train, bien moins cher que le ferry et avec des horaires plus souples, les trains vers Perth étant assez fréquents. 

We return to Perth by train, much cheaper than the ferry and with more flexible schedules, trains to Perth being more frequent.
