Résumé

Ce que j'en ai pensé

Un final vraiment époustouflant. Ce livre est le troisième et le dernier de la saga. Je n'ai pas parlé des deux autres livres sur ce blog et j'en suis vraiment désolée car c'est vraiment une saga que j'ai adorée !!! Je vais donc réparer ce tort en vous parlant ici de la saga en entier. Il s'agit d'une dystopie. Saba et Lugh sont jumeaux et naissent dans un monde poussiéreux, aride où seuls subsistent des ruines de l'époque des Destructeurs, c'est-à-dire de notre époque. C'est un monde sans pitié dans lequel naissent Saba et Lugh. Et la jeune fille va avoir son rôle à jouer dans son monde où l'on se dispute pour les ressources et où les puissants écrasent les plus faibles. Saba va devenir L'ange de la mort. A travers les trois tomes, la jeune fille va se transformer en femme, une femme forte, courageuse, intelligente mais aussi remplie de doutes et sur qui pèse le lourd fardeau de s'occuper de ceux qu'elle aime. Saba va également rencontrer l'amour sur son chemin. Deux hommes qui l'aiment mais eux aussi ont des caractères très forts et Saba va longuement hésiter, douter, ne sachant déterminer lequel des deux représente le bien, lequel se rapproche le plus de ses convictions, lequel a raison. Ces romans sont tout trois d'une intensité qui noue l'estomac et sont rythmés par une écriture déconcertante, sans tirets, sans guillemets, avec très peu de ponctuation et pourtant une écriture très fluide, qui coule comme l'eau de torrent, pleine de poésie, de force, de puissance. Cette saga est vraiment incroyable, époustouflante, foudroyante. Un vrai coup de coeur.

Saba knows how to fight—she's not called the Angel of Death for nothing. But what can she do when the fight cannot be won? Then DeMalo offers Saba a chance—a seductive chance she may not be able to refuse. How much will she sacrifice to save the people she loves?

My thought 

A truly breathtaking final. This book is the third and last of the saga. I have not talked about the two other books on this blog and I'm really sorry because it is a saga that I really loved !!! I will right that wrong by speaking here of the saga in full. This is a dystopia. Saba and Lugh are twins born in a dusty, barren world where only ruins remain from the time of Destroyers, that is to say of our time. It is a ruthless world where are born Saba and Lugh. And the girl will have her role to play in this world where one competes for resources and where the powerful crush the weak. Saba will become the Angel of Death. Through the three volumes, the girl will turn into a woman, a strong woman, courageous, intelligent but also full of doubts and who bears the heavy burden of caring for those she loves. Saba will also meet love on her way. Two men who love her but they too have a very strong mind and Saba will long hesitates, doubts, not knowing which of them is good, which is the more closer to her convictions, which is right. These novels are of an intensity that enters the stomach and are punctuated by a disconcerting writing, without dashes, without quotation marks, with very little punctuation, yet a very smooth writing, flowing like the water of a torrent, full of poetry, strength, and power. This saga is truly amazing, breathtaking, overwhelming. A real favorite.
