Synopsis

La Terre est envahie. L’humanité est en danger. Nos corps restent les mêmes, mais nos esprits sont contrôlés. Melanie Stryder vient d’être capturée. Elle refuse cependant de laisser place à l’être qui tente de la posséder. Quelque part, caché dans le désert, se trouve un homme qu’elle ne peut pas oublier. L’amour pourra-t-il la sauver ? 

Ce que j'en ai pensé

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce film de science-fiction qui fait réfléchir sur le contrôle que l'homme a du monde et sur ce qu'il adviendrait s'il venait à perdre ce contrôle au profit d'une espèce supérieure. J'ai beaucoup aimé également ce système de deux esprits dans un même corps qui oblige une délibération constante et très intéressante. J'ai également été très contente de voir que les humains se révoltaient et luttaient pour leur liberté car je ne supporterai pas d'avoir un extraterrestre dans mon corps qui m'oblige à faire ce qu'il veut. L’héroïne, Mélanie, est quelqu'un de noble qui se bat pour son frère et pour son petit ami. J'ai eu du mal au début à m'identifier à elle et je pense que c'est pour cela que je n'ai pas continué ma lecture du roman que j'avais commencée il y a quelques temps. Cependant, au fil du temps, on s'attache à Mélanie mais surtout à Vagabonde, l'extraterrestre qui a pris le contrôle du corps de Mélanie, une extraterrestre qui ne veut faire de mal à personne et qui découvre l'amour. J'ai trouvé très intéressant et très plaisant cette idée que l'amour serait quelque chose de spécifique à notre planète. Il y a pas mal d'orgueil dans ce que je dis là mais avouez que c'est plutôt gratifiant ! Cependant, si j'avais une critique à faire de ce film, c'est que la psychologie des autres extraterrestres n'est pas assez développé. J'aurai aimé comprendre plus ce qu'il se passait dans la tête de la méchante et peut-être que dans le livre, cet aspect est plus développé. Il faut donc absolument que je le lise !

Pour conclure, j'ai beaucoup aimé ce film qui questionne l'homme, son corps, sa conscience, l'amour. Et j'ai beaucoup aimé voir la difficulté pour deux esprits de se mettre d'accord notamment en ce qui concerne l'amour et c'était assez étrange de voir un même corps embrasser deux personnes différentes mais intéressant. Il s'agit donc d'un film à voir !

My thought

I loved this science fiction film that makes you think about the control men have on the world and what would happen if they lose this control and even the control of their body in favor of superior species. I really liked this system of two minds in one body that requires a constant and very interesting debate. I was also very happy to see that humans rebelled and fought for their freedom because I could not bear to have an alien in my body that makes me do what he wants. The heroine, Melanie, is someone noble who fights for her brother and her boyfriend. I had struggles in the beginning to identify with her and I think that's why I did not continue my reading of the novel I had begun some time ago. However, over time, we attached to Melanie but mostly to the alien who took control of her body, an alien who does not want to hurt anyone and who discovers love. I found very interesting and pleasant the idea that love is something specific to our planet. There is a lot of pride in what I am saying but admit that it is quite rewarding! However, if I had one criticism to make of this film is that the psychology of other extraterrestrial is not developed enough. I wish I understood more what was going on in the head of the bad woman and maybe in the book, this aspect is more developed. It is therefore imperative that I read it!To conclude, I loved this film that questions the man, his body, his consciousness, love. And I loved seeing the difficulty of two minds agreeing in particular with regard to love and it was quite strange to see one body kissing two different men but interesting. So this is a movie to see!
