Fascinant. C'est le premier mot qui m'est venu à l'esprit après avoir lu ce roman. Mais commençons par le commencement. Ce roman parle de Morgan, une fille banale qui vit dans une famille banale, dans une ville banale et qui va dans un lycée banal jusqu'au jour où Cal Blaire débarque. Et Cal Blaire et tout sauf banal. Avec lui, elle va découvrir la wicca. Une sorte de religion étrange où l'on croit à l'existence du Dieu et de la Déesse Mère et où l'on croit et pratique la magye. Morgan va se découvrir des pouvoirs insoupçonnés qui vont la mener à se poser des questions sur elle et sur ses parents. Autant dire qu'il s'agit du cocktail idéal pour un roman de fantasy réussi : de la magie, de la romance, de l'amitié, des problèmes familiaux, une quête d'identité. Et... j'ai découvert que la wicca existait réellement, qu'il s'agissait d'une religion reconnue au Canada, aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni. Vous pouvez vous renseigner sur Internet. Personnellement, je n'en avais jamais entendu parler. Bref, cette découverte m'a encore plus donné envie de lire le second roman. Que vous soyez intéressé ou non par la wicca, ce roman est génial et je vous le conseille. Attention, vous allez devenir addicts !

This novel tells us the story of Morgan, an ordinary girl who lives in an ordinary family in an ordinary town and goes into an ordinary highschool until the day Cal Blaire arrives. And Cal Blaire is anything but banal. With him, she will discover the wicca. A kind of strange religion where one believes in the existence of God and the Mother Goddess and where one believes and practices magick. Morgan will discover unsuspected powers that will lead her to ask about herself and her parents. Suffice to say that this is the ideal combination for a successful fantasy novel with magic, romance, friendship, family problems, a quest for identity. And ... I discovered Wicca really existed, that it was a recognized religion in Canada, the US and the UK. You can learn more about it on the Internet. Personally, I had never heard of it. In short, this discovery gave me even more desire to read the second novel. Whether you are interested or not in wicca, this novel is brilliant and I recommend it. Caution, you will become addicted!
