Will Grayson se méfie des sentiments. Les histoires de cœur portent la poisse, tout le temps. Alors, dans la vie, autant se faire discret. Son meilleur ami, Tiny Cooper est à la fois une bénédiction et une vraie plaie : mi fidèle et rayonnant, il est aussi ouvertement gay que corpulent et n'a pas l'habitude de passer inaperçu. A l'autre bout de la ville, un adolescent en pleine déprime assume mal sa différence. Le hasard veut qu'il se nomme lui aussi Will Grayson...

Ce que j'en ai pensé

Ce roman à deux voix, raconte l'histoire de trois personnes : Will Grayson, l'autre Will Grayson et Tiny Cooper. Mais je pense que l'on peut dire que Tiny Cooper est le personnage principal de ce roman. Tiny Cooper est un phénomène et ce livre est à son image. L'histoire est rocambolesque, loufoque, juste bizarre. Et c'est ce qui en fait tout le charme. J'ai préféré le premier Will Grayson au deuxième, en partie peut-être parce que la partie du deuxième Will Grayson est entièrement écrite sans majuscule. Et c'est le truc le plus énervant que j'ai jamais vu !!! Enfin, bref toujours est-il que c'est un livre amusant mais sans plus. Je n'ai pas été transcendée par ce roman que je trouve moins bien que Nos étoiles contraires qui était un véritable coup de coeur ou La face cachée de Margo. 

Summary

One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, Will Grayson crosses paths with . . . Will Grayson. Two teens with the same name, running in two very different circles, suddenly find their lives going in new and unexpected directions, and culminating in epic turns-of-heart and the most fabulous musical ever to grace the high school stage.

My thought

 This novel told by two persons, tells the story of three people: Will Grayson, the other Will Grayson and Tiny Cooper. But I think we can say that Tiny Cooper is the main character of this novel. Tiny Cooper is a phenomenon and this book is his image. The story is incredible, crazy, just weird. And that's what makes its charm. I preferred the first to the second Will Grayson, perhaps partly because the second part of Will Grayson is fully written without capital letters. And that's the most frustrating thing I've ever seen!!! Well, anyway it's still a fun book but not more. I have not been transcended by this novel that I find less good than The Fault in our stars who was a real favorite or Paper towns.
