SYNOPSIS
La famille Addams suscite l'horreur de ses voisins mais également l'envie. En effet malgré l'aspect miteux et délabré de leur manoir, les Addams sont riches. On imagine alors infiltrer la famille par le biais de l'oncle Fétide, porté disparu depuis de nombreuses années. Mais saura-t-il se faire passer pour l'un des leurs ?

Ce film est complètement déjanté. L'atmosphère gothique miteuse avec ses allures de décor de théâtre bon marché est superbement réalisée. Les personnages sont délicieusement zinzins, à l'opposé de la moralité et des bons usages de la société, tout en portant des valeurs fortes telles que l'amour familial. J'ai apprécié l'humour noir décalé de cette comédie grotesque et atypique. Ce film est bizarre mais c'est son originalité qui le rend aussi intéressant et divertissant. Ainsi, la famille Addams est une comédie absurde à l'atmosphère Halloweenesque très récréative.
SYNOPSIS
The Addams Family arouses the horror of their neighbours, but also envy. Despite the shabby, dilapidated appearance of their mansion, the Addamses are rich. The family is infiltrated by Uncle Fester or at leasth that's who he prends to be, the man being missing for many years. But will he be able to pass himself off as one of them?
MY THOUGHTS
This film is completely madcap. The shabby gothic atmosphere, with its cheap theatrical decor, is superbly realised. The characters are delightfully zany, at odds with society's morality and good manners, while at the same time carrying strong values such as family love. I enjoyed the offbeat black humour of this grotesque and atypical comedy. This is a bizarre film, but it's its originality that makes it so interesting and entertaining. In this way, The Addams Family is an absurd comedy with a highly entertaining Halloween atmosphere.
